Potjesregatta and Inauguration R. Demuyserepad

On Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 September 2023, the Royal Sand Yacht Club will organise the annual international landyacht race Potjesregatta.

This race for classes 2, 3, 5, P and Standart is the last race in De Panne before the EURO23 DE PANNE European Championship (30/9 - 6/10/2023).

Among the participants in the Potjesregatta, there are many Belgian and foreign pilots who will also participate in the European Championships.

For the spectator, the Potjesregatta is a good introduction to EURO23 DE PANNE.

The first Potjesregatta took place in 1975 and was an initiative of Robert Demuysere.

As a tribute by the Municipality of De Panne to Robert Demuysere, the "Robert Demuyserepad" will be inaugurated on Sunday 3 September (4pm) by mayor Bram Degrieck (the path that runs next to the Landyacht Centre to the beach).  As a result, the club's address will change soon!

Saturday 2 September : 8:00h start - 13:00h end of competition.

Sunday 3 September :

8:00h start - 13:30h end of race - Prize-giving ceremony
